this is a nearly perfect 3d recreation of the united states capitol located in Washington D.C, this was an old project i made some years ago but I decided to remake it the right way, saving more than 4 million polys and using a lot less materials.
It is made by a modular kit and some tileable textures combined with trim sheets, apart from some individual texture sets.
It was modeled entirely in blender, and the renders were made in Unreal Engine 4.
- The model (instanced) has approximately 500k faces, with 258 individual static meshes (5725 objects in total) .
- The model uses 58 materials combining trim sheets, tileables and some individual texture sets.
- The model took 2 and a half months to complete.
- The model will be available for sale shortly in the artstation marketplace and the flipped normals marketplace.
